the summer of 1984 singer Steve Overland and his brother,
guitarist Chris (bothformerly of Wildlife) teamed up with
drummer Pete Jupp (ex Wildlife and Samson) and bassist Merv
Goldsworthy (ex Diamond Head and Samson) to form FM. Joined
by the keyboard talents of Didge Digital, by December that
year they had secured a recording contract with CBS/Portrait
and the band headed to Germany for a run of dates with Meat
Loaf. Further tours with Tina Turner, Foreigner and Gary
Moore built up the momentum. On 8 September 1986 FM released
their debut album INDISCREET (featuring the hugely popular
single "Frozen Heart") to great critical acclaim and the
year ended on a high with FM supporting the white-hot Bon
Jovi on their "Slippery When Wet" tour. For the next nine
years FM consolidated their position at the forefront of
British melodic rock, touring extensively as headliners and
also joining bands such as Status Quo and Whitesnake on
tours to promote releases such as 1989's TOUGH IT OUT album;
TAKIN' IT TO THE STREETS released in 1991 (with Andy Barnett
on guitar replacing the now-departed Chris Overland);
APHRODISIAC in 1992 and what was to be their 'final' album,
1995's DEAD MAN'S SHOES with new recruit Jem Davis (Tobruk,
UFO) on keyboards. In 2007 - after a 12 year sabbatical - FM
were persuaded to return to the stage for a 'one-off'
headline performance at a sold-out Firefest IV at Nottingham
Rock City. The rapturous reception from the fans at Firefest
led to FM quickly making the decision to record a new album
and following a return to Firefest in 2009, in March 2010 FM
released their much-anticipated sixth studio album
METROPOLIS with Jim Kirkpatrick replacing Andy Barnett on
lead guitar. FM haven't stopped since… Headline tours both
in the UK and overseas, Special Guest slots touring with
Foreigner, Journey, Thin Lizzy, Heart, Saxon and Skid Row;
festival appearances including Download, Planet Rockstock,
Sweden Rock, Graspop, Steelhouse Festival, Frontiers Rock
Festival, Hard Rock Hell and Ramblin' Man Fair, and in 2018
their first-ever live show in the US at Melodic Rock Fest 5.
When not touring, FM have been busy in the studio and since
their 2010 'comeback' album they have released 2013's double
helping of ROCKVILLE and ROCKVILLE II; HEROES AND VILLAINS
in 2015 and ATOMIC GENERATION in 2018 along with INDISCREET
30 - a new 2016 recording of FM's classic debut album to
celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release - and THE
ITALIAN JOB live DVD/CD. 2020 brings FM's first Australian
tour in March followed by the release of the band's twelfth
studio album SYNCHRONIZED on 10 April via Frontiers Music
S.r.l. and UK tour dates.
Who
would have thought that the Tygers of Pan Tang would still be
making records and playing shows over 40 years after their
initial inception? Certainly not main man and sole surviving
original member Robb Weir. ‘I was a fan of heavy rock who wanted
to make his own music’ he said recently. ‘Last year when I
walked on stage in Dusseldorf in front of 4,000 people it
occurred to me that it had gone rather well!’
The original band, who made 4
albums for MCA records, survived the unexpected departure of
Jess Cox to run Neat records and later John Sykes, who was bound
for Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake. What they didn’t survive was
their greatest commercial success with the album ‘The Cage’ and
the arguments with their record company that would follow.
However, Weir, ever the optimist, formed a new version of the
band to both play the old material and write songs that would
represent this ‘new’ Tygers. The backbone of the band – Craig
Ellis, drums together with Jack Meille, vocals and Gav Gray,
bass - have now been together for considerably longer than the
first Tygers and were recently joined by Francesco Marras on
guitar. Lengthy auditions had to ensure that Francesco could
walk in the same shoes as his illustrious predecessors. Anyone
coming to see the band will hear how successful that process
was.
With the recent renewal of their
contract with Mighty Music, the label that has released their
last two albums, and a return to live work, Robb and the band
cannot wait to get back on the road. Expect a setlist peppered
with tunes from the early albums including the now recognised
gem ‘Spellbound’ together with the best of their recent
catalogue.

The band formed in 2015 and quickly rose to
prominence with the acclaimed Planet Rock radio singles ‘Live
Rock ’n’ Roll, ‘White Trash’ and play listed favourite ‘Seeds of
Summer'. The debut album 'Ride Of Your Life' was released in
2016 and recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios and
produced by Gil Norton (Foo Fighters). JOANovARC won best film
sound track for 'Seeds of summer' in 2017 at the independent
film awards and featured on a chinese Netflix movie 'Triumph in
the Skies'.
The self-titled second album also spawned the
monster Spotify hit ‘Say Sayonara’ which has achieved nearly ONE
MILLION streams to date, and featured on the Rock band 360 Xbox
and the Rock Running album.
This further established the band on a global
basis, and resulted in invitations to tour Europe, Japan, The
Middle East, Caribbean and the USA supporting bands such as
‘Huntress’ with a special performance at The Viper Rooms in
Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Since
bursting on to the scene with a vengeance in 2017, Midnite City

pile to be crowned the true kings of hair metal.
The band have released four critically
acclaimed albums, with second album ‘There Goes The
Neighbourhood’ being voted 5th best album of the year in Classic
Rock magazine, as well as being voted one of the best albums in
the 35 year history of Burrn magazine in Japan.
Since then the band have headlined tours
of the UK, played high profile festivals in Europe, sold out
shows in Japan and Australia, and continue to dazzle a growing
legion of die-hard fans – The Midnite Army – around the globe
with their high energy, feel good, melodic party rock.
Hot on the heels of 2021’s ‘Itch You
Can’t Scratch’, Midnite City released their current album ‘In At
The Deep End’, their strongest album to date which ticks every
box when it comes to late 80s style hair metal. From party
anthems to melodic rock monsters and heartfelt power ballads,
it’s all here in abundance.
Power vocals, killer guitar riffs, hooks
and solos, and an earth shaking rhythm section, Midnite City
will bring a high octane, memorable live performance that will
engage an audience and raise the level of any live event.

When
four experienced musicians get together to form a new rock band,
you know they mean business. Greyfox Conspiracy was
formed to write songs about life and love which have been
distilling away over many years like a good strong whiskey. When
they formed the band they found they had a lot in common. Born
and brought up in the South Wales landscape, which has seen so
many changes in the past 100 years, they had a lot to write
about.
All seasoned musicians who have been making
music for as long as they can remember, they have now found a
common ground where they can enjoy writing songs and playing
live, and inspire a new generation of young musicians to keep
the rock journey alive and thriving. Playing live shows is where
these old grizzlies work best, putting all they have into making
a show you would want to be part of, and see again. Structured
around the charismatic Greyfox Growl,
the band create a show allowing each band member to demonstrate
their own personality, which on occasion is quite a thing to
experience.

The Transmission are a Welsh hard rock band, formed in Cardiff
in 2015. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist
Justin Crowe, lead guitarist Josh Thomas, bassist Carl Oag and
drummer Rich Selby.
With the goal to bring Rock music back
to the mainstream and capture an audience of all ages with their
youthful energy and good time message, the band are shaping up
to become an explosive breakthrough onto the air brushed face of
today's current mainstream music scene. Cancel The
Transmission's sound is best described as a hard-hitting
shockwave at a time where Rock music lacks substance and
attitude. With an array of feel good Hard Rock anthems, raunchy
and riff driven powerhouses, infectious hooks and passionate
ballads, the band are truly diverse at what they do.
The band's musical influences include
bands such as Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard and
Whitesnake. As well as drawing influence from classic bands,
they are also greatly influenced by many of the modern rock
bands of today such as The Darkness, Alter Bridge, Inglorious,
The Treatment and Airbourne.
